This afternoon, Aly Raisman and her teammates go for another gold, in an attempt to reprise the success of 2012’s Fierce Five. Raisman, who also won a gold medal in the floor exercise in London, has nothing left to prove. The question is whether she can add to her trophy case and whether the U.S. can extend its recent dominance of the sport. Tune in to find out!
And where will Raisman go after the Olympics end? This June, the Raisman family bought a new house, in Needham , Massachusetts, where Aly grew up. The four-bedroom home is elegant and efficient. Highlights include: palatial bedrooms, walk-in closets the size of an efficiency apartment and a kitchen to make any chef jealous.
What a great place to crash after the Olympics, win or lose. It’s easy to imagine Raisman taking a few weeks here before returning to Babson College and figuring out the next steps in her life.
Also, look at that pool! Who wouldn’t love to lounge there with a few gold medals around their neck?
