Sales / Acquisitions Associate
Location: Cincinnati, OH | Columbus, OH
Build has sold hundreds of properties to real estate investors of all experience levels and is the most reliable hard money lender in the entire Midwest. Our team provides real estate investors with the resources they need to be successful, most importantly: access to distressed properties priced with their long term success in mind. The Sales and Acquisition team is responsible for the acquisition and distribution of distressed properties from over 20 established acquisition sources to our base of new and existing real estate investors.

Candidate must excel at finding and closing new opportunities, building relationships, servicing existing accounts, and have excellent problem solving and consultative selling skills. Must be a goal oriented, high achiever and hard worker able to work independently and be held accountable to your goals. Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required. Real estate or construction experience is helpful.

With offices currently located in Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio; we are just beginning our expansion to additional markets in the Midwest region. Because we do not sell franchises (yet), each branch office is lead by a Market President (MP) who oversees all of the operations for his/her office. The MP is an individual who has demonstrated success in both Sales and Acquisitions, has a full understanding our business model and has above average leadership abilities.
What we are looking for:
You must have prior success managing and developing salespeople who are selling high-ticket products to consumers in a competitive market. You also have an entrepreneurial mindset and experience with P&L responsibilities. Your track record proves that you are effective at coaching, motivating, recruiting, and growing salespeople as well as holding them accountable. You are very familiar with modern methods of selling and would best describe your style as “consultative.” Your past experience demonstrates that you depend on Customer Relationship Management software, process, and metrics, and are accountable to agreed upon growth goals in our expanding markets. You have high integrity, are polished, professional and present with charisma, energy and confidence. Experience with real estate, business services, insurance, consultative selling, major accounts, or national accounts helpful. You must have prior income of at least $100,000 and a desire to earn much more.
12 Month Fast Track Program:
Regardless of past experience, we require that all Market Presidents have demonstrated mastery of the Sales and Acquisitions roles at Build. In order to facilitate a smooth transition from Associate to Market President, and to ensure that the MP will have success, we have a 12 month, 3 stage “Fast Track” program for those Candidates who are interested in opening up their own Build office. Candidates interested in being considered for this limited program should indicate their interest when submitting their resume.
